Extensive travel worldwide has influenced and cultivated his unique style. Born in Poznan, Poland, and currently based in Atlanta, GA, musician Witold Tulodziecki has over the past 25 years emerged as a sought-after guitarist and performer. At the age of 10, Witold first became interested in acoustic nylon string guitar and today incorporates steel string guitar, guitar synthesizers, modelers and latest computer recording technologies. As a student of classical guitar in Europe, he was exposed to masters of Spanish guitar such as Andr s Segovia, Pepe Romero and Paco de Lucia. His most recent influences are Vicente Amigo and Jesse Cook. Witold's style has been compared to Earl Klugh and Ottmar Liebert, originator of Nuevo Flamenco guitar. Another inspiration is Rumba Flamenco music, popularized by Gipsy Kings, who brought this art form to main stream around the world. This self-produced album encompasses a progression of various musical ideas conceived over many years. You will hear Flamenco, Latin, World, Caribbean and New Age influences. The solo guitar has scores of improvised phrases and is played exclusively with finger picking and strumming techniques characteristic of Flamenco and classical guitar. The track order is designed to create a continuous musical journey keeping the listener interested and engaged. The instruments used in all of the tracks are consistent throughout the album to retain a coherent and distinguishable style. TITLE TRACKS: 'My Heart for You" raises your heartbeat and engages you in a fast-paced, exciting mix of pop with Flamenco harmonies. 'In The Shadow of Love' a light jazz/Latin spirit that has a lively and danceable character. 'Reflections of the Past' starts with a romantic nostalgic feel and develops into a heartwarming finale. 'Circle of Passion' has a Django Reinhardt feel to it with a Latin twist. 'Morning on the Sea', inspired by vacations on the Atlantic Ocean, develops slowly like the sun rise on a morning walk along the shore. 'Tropical Nights' transports you to exotic islands with evenings full of fun and entertainment. 'Sundance' is light, jazzy and full of memorable melodies. 'After the Rain' contrasts melodic elements reminiscent of the sun emerging after a storm, enhanced by reggaeton beats. 'Dream of My Love' a contemporary smooth jazz character mixing funky bass grooves with fusion guitar solos. 'Sailing to Nightfall' a perfect ending with a relaxing and vacation-like mood, supported with arpeggiated new age background guitar and soothing phrases. 'I am very excited about recording more of my musical ideas and I have material for many future albums. I hope you will enjoy listening to this debut production and feel free to write me an email sharing your thoughts and impressions about this album.' |
