	• Manufacturer: CD • Manufacturer Part Number: CDBY 158028 • SKU: 5647111 • UPC: 616892935728 • Shipping: $1.24 • Description: No one can live in New York City and not be under its influence. Influence is all around. Undersea Explosion is a group who reflects its surroundings in theme. They hide riddles in heaps of garage rock. They set songs out on a cinematic horizon, like a distant drive-in flick that that goes by fast while your left to assemble the few pieces you have in order to solve the mystery. That's our hope anyway. This is Undersea Explosion!!! was recorded as an album. Not as a sentimental lament but because it very well may be our last chance to record an album. In 2-3 years will there be a viable format to package as an album? As a youngster with a stunted attention span it's ironic that record albums were one of the few mediums that could hold my attention for any length of time. Before movies, before books, I would absorb every bit of artwork and imagery, while I existed inside the music, riding shotgun with the group creating it until it was burned into my psyche and I carried it around for life. This album is intended to be listened to in its entirety, complete with a side 1 and a side 2. "The Trouble with Ronnie" is a full journey on it's own ending in a cyclone of beautiful noise and dreamy conversation. Now we're "Back to the City" and riding the midnight train to misadventure on "Those Tunnels". "Deadly Friend" reflects on many new beginnings and a common fate while "Scarlet Fever" exists in broken vows and fever delirium. Things shift a bit on Side 2 beginning with the dark necro-comedy of "Morbid Fascination" and self-explanatory garage classic "Career Suicide". "Strange" is a smoky, kinky duet and "I met the Devil Down in New Orleans" is a true story. Now we're dozing at the wheel as we drive down a long lonely lost highway on "The Road" and pull off at the rawboned murder balled "Blood in the Morning", uttering a raspy dying breath that will have to hold us until the next ride. The creation of This is Undersea Explosion!!! saw its way though two weddings, a personal change (featuring a triumphant return of original drummer Myq Gaffey, aka: Anykid USA), a birth, and finally, renewed ambitions for the band. Recorded expertly by Josh Clark on to 2" analog tape - this is USX firing on all twelve cylinders. Enjoy. '(USX) explode without warning...as rock'n'roll as it comes' --Steve English, Chart, June 2006 (NXNE live review) 'gritty yet darkly ethereal...a nightmarish halo hangs...a garage-punk band that's discovered how to let its music breathe.' --Tom Murphy, Westword, Oct 2007 'Tight, fast, tense, minimal songs with a teutonic aura: we likey!' --The Deli Magazine, Aug 2006 'perfect soundtrack for late night madnesses' --Nevin Martell, FLAUNT music critic, March 2005 'Dark, deceiving, and somewhat evil sounds' --Crashin' In, March 2005 'a solid unit of hard rockin' energy...that takes Rock n Roll back to its roots.' --JC, Impact Press, April 2005

The day after Thanksgiving is known as Black Friday because for many retailers it was the day they went from being in the red to being in the black when they became profitable for the year. It is also the official beginning of the holiday shopping season, and Black Friday has become known for some of the best bargains, discounts and deals of the entire year! Everyone has watched stampeding crowds on the local news or diehard bargain hunters camping out overnight so they can be among the first to grab limited black friday specials at their favorite local retailers... However, if you prefer doing your holiday discount shopping from the warm and cozy comfort of home, then Cyber Monday was designed with you in mind! Online retailers spotted the Black Friday frenzy sweeping across the country as it took over brick and mortar locations - rather than compete for your black friday attention, they concocted a day that is all their own and named it Cyber Monday! The Monday after Thanksgiving is when your favorite online stores slash prices and offer their very best prices to help usher in the online holiday shopping season! That means big savings for you whether you choose to brave the local crowds on Black Friday or avoid the madness by browsing online during Cyber Monday Sales! Not to worry - the Friday and Monday after Thanksgiving might get the most attention for discount holiday shopping, but if you procrastinate beyond that magical bargain hunting window it doesn't mean you will be completely left out... In fact, this promises to be an exceptionally consumer-friendly holiday shopping season with sales, coupons and discounts extending far beyond Black Friday and Cyber Monday and allowing you to find the best prices on holiday gifts until the very last minute! Hoping to avoid discount shopping withdrawal? Even after Christmas and Hanukkah have come and gone, you'll still have After Holiday Specials to help usher in the New Year!
