	• Manufacturer: CD • Manufacturer Part Number: CDBY 229676 • SKU: 10601689 • UPC: 827912051834 • Shipping: $1.24 • Description: This is certainly our most ambitious recording to date. Presented in multi-layered audio collage form and featuring a dozen Runaway originals and 30 tunes from the festival (including Janis, Jimi, CCR, CSN&Y, The Band, The Dead, and The Who), it's a cinematic, technicolor explosion of music and memories. "Woodstock" celebrates this historic event in a romantic fashion, appropriate to the fantasy it became. Idealistic hope plays a greater role in our presentation than mud or insufficiant sanitary facilities. We commemorate this festival because it allows us to explore the period and the youth culture that gave it such power. Stage announcements, poetry, sound effects, musical montages, radio reports and audience response invites involvement in our production. It's really an audio movie, allowing the listener to play the role of cinematographer. Once you respond to the record's initial plea to "Come On!", you are in for an uninterrupted 80 minutes of concentrated Sixties, featuring the music, attitude and dreams of the era. Take a journey with Runaway Express back to the garden. quotes from fans who understand.... 'I'm holding you responsible for me waking up naked in a tree with balloons tied to my eyelids and the local fire department trying to talk me down...' 'Woodstock captures the essence of the experience. If you were there, it will speak to you deeply and vibrantly. If you thought you were there, it will make that experience even more real. If you weren't there, it will move you in a way that allows you to be there. If you were too young to be there, then this is the next best thing.' 'I just wanted you to know how thrilled I am to hold such extraordinary work.' 'What an amazing and incredible accomplishment for you to encapture the entire 'Woodstock Experience' in 80 non-stop minutes.' 'Woodstock... The telling of a concert that defined a generation, and most importantly, needs to be heard today. Jim Ratts and Runaway Express have created a vehicle to remember and reclaim a vision of peace, of love, of freedom, of tolerance and of music... really great music. Let's not forget. Come back to Woodstock... as if you ever really left it. It could happen again.' 'If I was forced to live on a desert island for the rest of my life with just one CD your Woodstock CD would be it! I genuinely mean that, without a doubt your CD has to be the most enjoyable CD that I have ever listened to. I own: Blonde on Blonde, Sgt. Pepper, Sticky Fingers, Tommy, Tapestry, Deja Vu, Surrealistic Pillow, etc.... and your CD tops them all.' '... And that noise you heard last night, was us - on our feet, applauding what you have accomplished.'

The day after Thanksgiving is known as Black Friday because for many retailers it was the day they went from being in the red to being in the black when they became profitable for the year. It is also the official beginning of the holiday shopping season, and Black Friday has become known for some of the best bargains, discounts and deals of the entire year! Everyone has watched stampeding crowds on the local news or diehard bargain hunters camping out overnight so they can be among the first to grab limited black friday specials at their favorite local retailers... However, if you prefer doing your holiday discount shopping from the warm and cozy comfort of home, then Cyber Monday was designed with you in mind! Online retailers spotted the Black Friday frenzy sweeping across the country as it took over brick and mortar locations - rather than compete for your black friday attention, they concocted a day that is all their own and named it Cyber Monday! The Monday after Thanksgiving is when your favorite online stores slash prices and offer their very best prices to help usher in the online holiday shopping season! That means big savings for you whether you choose to brave the local crowds on Black Friday or avoid the madness by browsing online during Cyber Monday Sales! Not to worry - the Friday and Monday after Thanksgiving might get the most attention for discount holiday shopping, but if you procrastinate beyond that magical bargain hunting window it doesn't mean you will be completely left out... In fact, this promises to be an exceptionally consumer-friendly holiday shopping season with sales, coupons and discounts extending far beyond Black Friday and Cyber Monday and allowing you to find the best prices on holiday gifts until the very last minute! Hoping to avoid discount shopping withdrawal? Even after Christmas and Hanukkah have come and gone, you'll still have After Holiday Specials to help usher in the New Year!
