We do, however, do funny songs in wildly varying styles, some recognizable, some 'Wha?' We were the #1 requested artist on the legendary 'Dr. Demento Show' in 2008, with our ELO pastiche 'Hold On, I've Got To Take This', which has been described as 'the most beautiful song ever written about a cell phone being shoved up an orifice'. We're also the culprits behind the viral Internet hits 'My Cat is Afraid of the Vacuum Cleaner' (which alternates between a 1940's cartoon theme style and horrific alien or serial killer sound effects, while the singer keeps on singing) and 'Our Old Cartoon Animals' (performed in a somewhat collegiate style of old), the latter of which appears on our latest album 'Love With a Side of Fries'. If you're into fan conventions, chances are you'll see performing member Chris Mezzolesta holding forth on stage and doing very strange things while people in the audience cheer. Chris is also a professional voice actor/narrator (last heard saying 'Uh-Oh!' in the Kaopectate TV commercial), while lyricist and evil mastermind Craig Marks pretends to be a hospital computer guy when not plotting the next assault on humdrum and sanity. Power Salad is, well, I guess it's 'anything but'. |

It is also the official beginning of the holiday shopping season, and Black Friday has become known for some of the best bargains, discounts and deals of the entire year! Everyone has watched stampeding crowds on the local news or diehard bargain hunters camping out overnight so they can be among the first to grab limited black friday specials at their favorite local retailers... However, if you prefer doing your holiday discount shopping from the warm and cozy comfort of home, then Cyber Monday was designed with you in mind! Online retailers spotted the Black Friday frenzy sweeping across the country as it took over brick and mortar locations - rather than compete for your black friday attention, they concocted a day that is all their own and named it Cyber Monday! The Monday after Thanksgiving is when your favorite online stores slash prices and offer their very best prices to help usher in the online holiday shopping season! That means big savings for you whether you choose to brave the local crowds on Black Friday or avoid the madness by browsing online during Cyber Monday Sales! Not to worry - the Friday and Monday after Thanksgiving might get the most attention for discount holiday shopping, but if you procrastinate beyond that magical bargain hunting window it doesn't mean you will be completely left out... In fact, this promises to be an exceptionally consumer-friendly holiday shopping season with sales, coupons and discounts extending far beyond Black Friday and Cyber Monday and allowing you to find the best prices on holiday gifts until the very last minute!
