This alone indicates much in a city renowned for it's musical contributions such as Chuck Berry, Michael McDonald, Sheryl Crow, Nelly, Johnnie Johnson, Oliver Sain, Tina Turner, and others. Pat is a versatile singer/songwriter/musician, and spearheaded the band as a key writer and lead vocalist, as well as playing keyboard and slide guitar. Mama's Pride had two successful albums in the 1970's: 'Mama's Pride' (1975) and 'Uptown & Lowdown' (1976). Produced by such notables as the legendary Arif Mardin, who's last Grammy was for producing Norah Jones, and Jim Mason, of Firefall fame. In 1992 Mama's Pride also released a third album, 'Guard Your Heart', produced by Grammy winner, Jim Gaines. The music on all three albums has sustained in popularity, and is still played on many radio stations in the U.S. and Europe. In 2006 they released a long awaited 'live' CD. Recorded at the Pageant in St. Louis! It's simply called Mama's Pride 'A Live and Well'. Pat toured coast to coast with Mama's Pride alongside top recording artists such as The Charlie Daniels Band, The Allman Brothers, Marshall Tucker, Bob Seger, Heart, Kansas, Alice Cooper, The Outlaws, Lynyrd Skynyrd, REO Speedwagon, Ringo Starr, Todd Rundgren, Joe Walsh, Stephen Stills, Loggins & Messina and many more. More recently, Mama's Pride has been breaking records with 'Sold Out' concerts at The Pageant Theatre, one of St. Louis' newest and most popular concert venues. Mamas Pride currently is perfoming one concert a year at the Pageant. In 2003 Pat released his first solo CD 'Blue Mist' with eleven self-penned songs on it. In December 2008 he released his 2nd solo effort 'Dreamer' with 12 new songs. "The work of a seldom-heralded talent, Blue Mist offers a master class of Irish American Folk-Rock." ..... John O'Regan, Irish Music Magazine "Liston has an Irish soul: He wails and moans with Celtic blues, carries an ageless folk melody with his gently rasping tenor (which sometimes recalls Stephen Stills, sometimes Wilson Pickett) and phrases with unrestrained, even torrential emotion" ..... Riverfront Times, St. Louis, MO. "This album is so refreshing..... He flavors it with sounds that hearken back to the best of the seminal creative forces of rock, folk, and pop. The music has a lilt to it. It's certainly not wimpy but it isn't a "rock out" boogie kind of thing either. It's melodic and catchy. Edgy? Yes, but not overly so". ........ Jess Marich, Shake Magazine, Nashville Tenn. "....Pat has a powerhouse lead vocal". ........ Jean-Charles Costa, Circus Magazine, N.Y., N.Y.

The day after Thanksgiving is known as Black Friday because for many retailers it was the day they went from being in the red to being in the black when they became profitable for the year. It is also the official beginning of the holiday shopping season, and Black Friday has become known for some of the best bargains, discounts and deals of the entire year! Everyone has watched stampeding crowds on the local news or diehard bargain hunters camping out overnight so they can be among the first to grab limited black friday specials at their favorite local retailers... However, if you prefer doing your holiday discount shopping from the warm and cozy comfort of home, then Cyber Monday was designed with you in mind! Online retailers spotted the Black Friday frenzy sweeping across the country as it took over brick and mortar locations - rather than compete for your black friday attention, they concocted a day that is all their own and named it Cyber Monday! The Monday after Thanksgiving is when your favorite online stores slash prices and offer their very best prices to help usher in the online holiday shopping season! That means big savings for you whether you choose to brave the local crowds on Black Friday or avoid the madness by browsing online during Cyber Monday Sales! Not to worry - the Friday and Monday after Thanksgiving might get the most attention for discount holiday shopping, but if you procrastinate beyond that magical bargain hunting window it doesn't mean you will be completely left out... In fact, this promises to be an exceptionally consumer-friendly holiday shopping season with sales, coupons and discounts extending far beyond Black Friday and Cyber Monday and allowing you to find the best prices on holiday gifts until the very last minute! Hoping to avoid discount shopping withdrawal? Even after Christmas and Hanukkah have come and gone, you'll still have After Holiday Specials to help usher in the New Year!
