The instruments used on their recordings include numerous handmade guitars, mandolin, and banjos. Among these instruments is a 1921 Gibson A4 mandolin, a 1955 Bjarnton Swedish nylon-string guitar, a 1978 Martin HD28 guitar, a 1984 Flatiron A5 mandolin, a 5-string banjo made by Geoff Groberg, and a 1950s era arch top guitar that Geoff rebuilt in 2012. Instruments heard on Geslison Groberg recordings vary greatly. Though most tracks contain guitar, piano, or mandolin, many tracks contain instruments like fiddle, violin, flute, clarinet, bassoon, autoharp, banjo, bass, French horn, oboe, mountain dulcimer, octave mandolin, low 'D' whistle, pennywhistle, bodhran, and voice.
