	• SKU: 2549477 • UPC: 800567304005 • Shipping: $1.24 • Description: Eclipse is a vocal group of six creating explosive sound, driving rhythms, and lush harmonies using only one instrument: the human mouth. The six members of Eclipse originally met while performing in a public relations /ambassador-oriented group that was part of the department of Programs and Entertainment at Utah State University. They began by arranging their own vocal covers of popular songs and performing them on campus and in the Logan area. Increasing public interest and performance opportunities led to the recording of their first album, 'Once,' which was released in April 2001. Following the release, the band's main focus shifted to gaining exposure. They auditioned for, and were accepted to compete in, the Northwest Regional Harmony Sweepstakes Competition. They took first place and were featured at the National Competition in May 2001 with the 8 other Regional winners from around the nation. In Utah, concerts and contacts continued and relationships were developed as Eclipse began performing with local artists such as Colors, John Schmidt, Peter Breinholt, and Kurt Bestor. In September 2001, Eclipse was asked by Kenny Ortega, Olympic Ceremonies Director, to perform a featured number in the Opening Ceremonies for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. This led to other opportunities, including a featured spot in the Closing Ceremonies and a series of appearances at the Medals Plaza opening for such acts as Brooks & Dunn, Nelly Furtado, and Train. Shortly after the Olympics, Eclipse was asked to be a featured guest along with Larry King and Toby Keith at the 'Stadium of Fire,' the 4th of July celebration at BYU's Cougar Stadium. Eclipse released their second album, 'Think Twice,' in October 2002. They also became the 2002 winners of the Rocky Mountain Regional Harmony Sweepstakes. In 2003, Eclipse was named 'Best Vocal Group' in Utah's Best of State Awards and 'Group Recording Artist of the Year' in the Faith Centered Music Association's Pearl Awards. Eclipse released their third CD, a Christmas album called 'Three Kings', in October of 2003. In 2004, Eclipse received three more Pearl Awards, including 'Holiday Album of the Year,' and were the runners-up for 'Best Holiday Album' in the Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards. They also received two Just Plain Folks Music Awards (the world's largest music awards program, honoring independent musicians in over 85 countries). This live album captures the energy and excitement of Eclipse in concert and features many of the highly requested songs not found on any other Eclipse album, such as McDonald's Girl, Every Other Time, and Eclipse's Rap Medley. It will also include a rendition of My Maria featuring Peter Breinholt on lead vocals.

The day after Thanksgiving is known as Black Friday because for many retailers it was the day they went from being in the red to being in the black when they became profitable for the year. It is also the official beginning of the holiday shopping season, and Black Friday has become known for some of the best bargains, discounts and deals of the entire year! Everyone has watched stampeding crowds on the local news or diehard bargain hunters camping out overnight so they can be among the first to grab limited black friday specials at their favorite local retailers... However, if you prefer doing your holiday discount shopping from the warm and cozy comfort of home, then Cyber Monday was designed with you in mind! Online retailers spotted the Black Friday frenzy sweeping across the country as it took over brick and mortar locations - rather than compete for your black friday attention, they concocted a day that is all their own and named it Cyber Monday! The Monday after Thanksgiving is when your favorite online stores slash prices and offer their very best prices to help usher in the online holiday shopping season! That means big savings for you whether you choose to brave the local crowds on Black Friday or avoid the madness by browsing online during Cyber Monday Sales! Not to worry - the Friday and Monday after Thanksgiving might get the most attention for discount holiday shopping, but if you procrastinate beyond that magical bargain hunting window it doesn't mean you will be completely left out... In fact, this promises to be an exceptionally consumer-friendly holiday shopping season with sales, coupons and discounts extending far beyond Black Friday and Cyber Monday and allowing you to find the best prices on holiday gifts until the very last minute! Hoping to avoid discount shopping withdrawal? Even after Christmas and Hanukkah have come and gone, you'll still have After Holiday Specials to help usher in the New Year!
