So ist es bei der Neuproduktion des "Jedermann" geschehen. Wie es denn gewesen sei, fragte ich Robert Kainar, als er dem f r die musikalische Leitung verantwortlichen Martin Lowe begegnete: "Liebe auf den ersten Blick", erwidert er sachlich, da wahrheitsgetreu. Im Herbst 2012 trafen sich die beiden zum ersten Mal, im Dezember w hlten sie gemeinsam die Musiker aus, die sich sp ter zum Jedermann-"Ensemble 013" formieren sollten, und alle zusammen schufen miteinander den unverwechselbaren und mitrei enden Sound dieser gefeierten Produktion. Max Reinhardt wusste um die Suggestionskraft guter B hnenmusik und beauftragte die Komponisten Einar Nilson und Bernhard Paumgartner, die opulente Musik daf r schufen. Das Ensemble 013 und Martin Lowe haben einige ihrer Titel bearbeitet, denn wie die Regisseure Julian Crouch und Brian Mertes sagten: "Wir werfen die alten Dinge nicht einfach alle weg. Wir greifen auf vielf ltige Weise auf das Originalmaterial zur ck, um der Sache insgesamt frische Impulse zu geben." Crouch und Mertes haben den Jedermann tats chlich bis zum "Everyman" zur ckverfolgt und auf seine Herkunft verwiesen: Ein Theater der reisenden Truppen, das auf Stra en und Marktpl tzen seine Vorstellungen spielt. Die Musik greift diese Welt kongenial auf. Aus den USA, der Heimat der beiden Regisseure, kommt auch die Musikerin und Schauspielerin Saskia Lane, die wie Julian Crouch und Martin Lowe ebenfalls Kompositionen beisteuerte. Trauerm rsche und Prozessionen, Jazz und Balkan, Folk und Mahler, Klezmer und Klassik sind durch sie alle - und die fabelhaften Interpreten des Ensemble 013 - zu einer einzigartigen Mischung harmonisch zusammengewachsen. Es ist der feierliche, der vitale, der wehm tige und festliche Sound des neuen Jedermann geworden. Ein Gl cksfall und eine Freude. Stolz pr sentieren wir ihre CD.
