Dynasty: The Final Season, Vol. 2 [3 Discs] (dvd)
	• Brand: ALLIANCE ENTERTAINMENT LLC • SKU: 25373155 • UPC: 032429157720 • Description: Laid low by progressively weaker ratings, Dynasty discreetly left the scene at the end of its ninth season. But though viewership was down, the series' entertainment content was as high as ever, thanks in large part to a lengthy murder-investigation storyline. It all begins when the mummified body of Roger Grimes, former lover of the scheming Alexis Carrington Colby (Joan Collins), turns up on the estate of Alexis' ex-husband Blake (John Forsythe) and his current spouse, Krystle (Linda Evans). Investigating the case is detective Sergeant Zorelli (Ray Abruzzo), who like so many poor saps before him ends up in bed with Blake's predatory daughter Fallon (Emma Samms). Meanwhile, spiteful Alexis tries to frame Blake for the murder, only to be undermined by the vengeful hijinks of the vixenish Sable (Stephanie Beacham), an Alexis-like character first introduced on the Dynasty spin-off The Colbys. In a later development, Krystle abruptly lapses into a coma and is shipped off to a hospital in Switzerland - as good a method as any to allow co-star Linda Evans to leave the series halfway through the season. Curiously, the series ends on another cliffhanger, without bothering to tie up any loose plot strands - such as the ultimate fate of Alexis after she plunges from a high window. Fans would have to wait nearly three years before the "official," two-hour Dynasty denouement special in 1991~Hal Erickson

The day after Thanksgiving is known as Black Friday because for many retailers it was the day they went from being in the red to being in the black when they became profitable for the year. It is also the official beginning of the holiday shopping season, and Black Friday has become known for some of the best bargains, discounts and deals of the entire year! Everyone has watched stampeding crowds on the local news or diehard bargain hunters camping out overnight so they can be among the first to grab limited black friday specials at their favorite local retailers... However, if you prefer doing your holiday discount shopping from the warm and cozy comfort of home, then Cyber Monday was designed with you in mind! Online retailers spotted the Black Friday frenzy sweeping across the country as it took over brick and mortar locations - rather than compete for your black friday attention, they concocted a day that is all their own and named it Cyber Monday! The Monday after Thanksgiving is when your favorite online stores slash prices and offer their very best prices to help usher in the online holiday shopping season! That means big savings for you whether you choose to brave the local crowds on Black Friday or avoid the madness by browsing online during Cyber Monday Sales! Not to worry - the Friday and Monday after Thanksgiving might get the most attention for discount holiday shopping, but if you procrastinate beyond that magical bargain hunting window it doesn't mean you will be completely left out... In fact, this promises to be an exceptionally consumer-friendly holiday shopping season with sales, coupons and discounts extending far beyond Black Friday and Cyber Monday and allowing you to find the best prices on holiday gifts until the very last minute! Hoping to avoid discount shopping withdrawal? Even after Christmas and Hanukkah have come and gone, you'll still have After Holiday Specials to help usher in the New Year!
